APIs for Funding, Settlement, Rewards, and Access

The Ride SDK allows transportation operators to integrate Ride USD and Ride Rewards directly into their existing mobile apps and systems. Operators can accept Ride USD for fares and enable URT and BRT rewards without changing rider behavior, replacing infrastructure, or launching a new wallet.

The Ride SDK is designed to integrate with existing operator mobile apps, fare systems, and account-based ticketing platforms, allowing Ride USD and Ride Rewards to be accepted natively within current rider experiences.

Operators remain fully in control of branding, UX, pricing, and access rules. Ride provides the settlement and incentives layer underneath.

How It Works

Riders continue to pay using familiar methods like cards or ACH. Instead of processing every ride as a standalone card transaction, value is settled through the Ride network using Ride USD.

The Ride SDK separates payment authorization from settlement, reducing reliance on card networks while preserving open-loop acceptance and existing rider experiences.

From an operational perspective, nothing changes at the fare gate, in the app, or at the point of sale. The SDK handles funding, settlement, and reconciliation in the background.

Operator App

For operators with existing mobile apps, the Ride SDK embeds Ride USD and Ride Rewards directly into the in-app payment and checkout flow. Riders fund balances, redeem URT or BRT, and use Ride-enabled passes without leaving the operator app or learning a new experience.

Security, Compliance, and Settlement

All settlement through the Ride SDK uses Ride USD,

a digital settlement dollar fully backed 1:1 by USDC reserves and managed through regulated infrastructure.

Transactions are cleared and reconciled through RideDEX, providing transparency, auditability, and real-time settlement while reducing operational cost and complexity.

RIDE WALLET

The Ride Wallet is an optional, network-level interface built on top of the Ride SDK.

It is provided as a reference implementation for cross-operator use cases or situations where no operator-branded app exists.

For most operators, riders interact exclusively through the operator’s own app, with Ride USD and URT fully integrated via the SDK.
